A boundary is shown on all city pages regardless of the legal status of the place. In some cases, the place may be legally incorporated as a different entity such as a borough, town, township, village, etc. If an unincorporated place is defined as a Census Designated Place (CDP), the CDP boundary is displayed on the map.
How can a boundary be shown for a place that is technically not a city?
